So, bring all your attention here and start reading right away!

So, what’s all, Emily In Paris about?

The plotline of Emily In Paris is entirely predictable. A young American lady appearing on the screen and taking a new job in Paris while ignoring all the factual situations and residing a new life in the new city happily ever after. Like that, the main actress, Lily Collins (Emily), who lives in Chicago, suddenly gets on the Plane to Paris by taking her mentor Kate Walsh’s (Madeline) job proposal. Despite not knowing anything about French life, their products, and not even meeting enough requirements for the job’s position, Emily is destined to grab the opportunity feasibly. Later on, she continually struggles for not being able to provide satisfying work and deals with multiple relatable problems while adjusting to her new life.

Coming on to the cliches, critics are not buying the constant ‘perfectness’ in Emily’s life, for instance, her taking a perfect picture in one shot while dining out in a fancy restaurant every day, or getting away with every trouble, this doesn’t seem to add up that much.

However, concentrating on the series’s genre (rom-com), a romantic fairytale with no discussion of politics or depressing situations feels better amid these depressed covid crises nowadays. So it’s a win-win situation!

Meet the spontaneous cast of Emily In Paris

Tv genius Darren Star, the creator of Sex and the City, did a brilliant job in bringing out the popular yet talented actors for Emily In Paris series. We’re mentioning some of them that you can stalk right away!

  • Lily Collins

It’s no surprise that Lily is one of the leads in the series and plays Emilly’s role. She is Emily Cooper, a young lady from Chicago who gets a chance to move to Paris for her dream job opportunity with the French marketing firm. Throughout the show, people loved her jaw-dropping outfits and acting; however, she can sometimes be the most annoying character on the show as well.

  • Lucas Bravo

Lucas Bravo plays as Gabriel, a handsome-talented chef, love-interest, and a downstairs neighbor of Emily in Chicago. At some point, we all have dreamt about having a neighbor like Gabriel. Lucas is a popular-to-be french actor and has several short-films attached to his name.

  • Ashley Park

If you remember the Crazy Rich Asians, you’ll feel the same vibe of friendship between Emily and Mindy Chen (Ashley Park) as it was between Awkwafina and Rachel Chu.

Alongside these, we’ve got Kate Walsh (all Grey’s anatomy fans cheer up) as Madeline, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie (Emily’s boss), Camille Razat, etc.

The much-needed sneak peek at the show’s fashion moments and trendy outfits!

Apart from all the cliches and fairytales, the most liked thing about the series is its breath-taking apparel. The famous Sex and the City’s designer Patricia Field has put a lot of effort into making the wardrobe of the cast appear more relishing than ever. For instance, people are searching for Emily In Paris Coats and Jackets Collection each day in online and physical stores. Not only that but Emily’s boss appealing monochrome apparel is also becoming the town’s talk. Other than that, the artist and designer of Emily In Paris have styled their characters while keeping the French styles in mind. For example, Emily’s bright-colored outfits paired up with Jacquemus-Esque straw hat or classic beret; all these portray Americans’ point of view on French fashion.

Just in case you’re looking for series inspired attires too, then aim for the Emily In Paris Coats and Jackets for Sale on Hleatherjackets (it’s one of the best).

Get over with Season 1 as Season 2 is already on its way!

Emily’s constant struggles with her Boss and love-interest Gabriel clearly don’t settle down in season 1. And having the last episode, which is no less than a mystery that needs to be solved right away, makes more sense why another season is required asap. Thus, both the creator, Darren Star, and the viewers of the series are hoping to get the green signal for the production of season 2 during the on-going pandemic. If everything goes smoothly, then the second season can hit our screens the next October, hopefully. And this time, its focus will be on Emily finding her own-self and giving her all the attention she needs. So, it does look promising and exciting for the fans of Emily In Paris, now streaming on Netflix!
