Bonanza is a Western tv series that ran from September 12, 1959, to January 16, 1973, on NBC network.  The show records the weekly adventures of the Cartwright family who lived in a thousand square mile ranch headed by the thrice widowed patriarch Ben Cartwright who had three sons each from a different wife.

 

Lorn Green has portrayed the main protagonist of Ben Cartwright in the series who was a widowed patriarch having a cowboy personality that has appeared in all the episodes of the show.
