The idea of Anya Taylor Joy The Queen’s Gambit Beth Harmon Trench White Coat is taken from the American drama television miniseries “The Queen’s Gambit” that is based on the 1983 novel of the same name written by Walter Tevis. The story revolves around Beth Harmon about the life of an orphan chess prodigy from the age of eight to twenty-two as she struggles with addiction in her quest to become a Grandmaster in chess. The character of Beth Harmon is played by the talented actress Anya Taylor-joy.
